Sessions
You can decide to choose a group online class or private online tuition. Group classes allow for greater interaction between other students which boosts confidence and self-awareness. Typically groups start the academic year together and maintain their size like a classroom. The pace by which the program is completed varies between types of sessions. Private online tuition allows for greater tailored experience and may be suitable for students starting the academic year late. Private online lessons equip students with knowledge much faster, but lack in competitive interaction from other students. Online lessons follow an academic program specific to each individual. This program is planned in advance and requires a lot of preparation. After successful consultation, parents get a recommendation about which types of lessons may be more suitable; group or private.
Memberships
Group and private lesson memberships differ with what they offer. Group lessons offer greater value and private lessons offer faster progression. All memberships are contracts for 9 months, per the academic year. Before committing, you can choose a trial month to see if the Abakus UK mental arithmetic is the correct approach for your child. Additional perks are available for Full Academic Year memberships (group or private) - which offer either 2 lessons per week or one double lesson. These perks include free abacus counters (worth £15), course and workbooks (worth £50), paid international olympiad entry (£20), paid Prime League entry (£5 per season).
