Mental Arithmetic League

Compete against hundreds of other participants to win the Prime League. By completing challenges and earning points, you can become the one true legend of the Mental Arithmetic League. Beat everyone at the competition to earn special titles and paid for participation at the International Olympiad!
There are three key stages to every tournament. Starting with the quick maths challenge, participants use an abacus and beat the clock before the time resets. After completing all of the challenges, each participant earns a score to proceed to the next round.
Mental Calculations
The first stage of our competition, participants will test their mental arithmetic using abacus visualisation method, as the questions become harder. The ability to problem solve while concentrating on mathematic equations tests the limits of each participant's ability!
Flash Memory
The second stage of our competition is called Flash-Cards, where we use skills that help children to develop Visuospatial short-term memory. It is the ability to keep a small amount of visual information such as signs, letter, digits and colours within a limited period of time in our head. This is a test for concentration and focus.
Cubic Blocks
In the third stage, participants have to count the number of colourful cubes in each pile. Some cubes are hidden whilst others are open. This tests for imagination and spatial orientation. The ability to resolve complex datasets trains the brain to recognise patterns quickly!
